  1. THE DESIGN BOX:

Your Room Plan-in-a-Box is a streamlined version of our Full-service approach, condensed into two focused sessions. Hollie will provide her signature SPACES guidance, tailored to the details you share during onboarding, equipping you with the inspiration and tools needed to bring your project to life. We will meet twice in our Maplewood studio. Sessions are held on Fridays.

Location: Our Maplewood Studio (*or remote for distance-clients)

    Price: $2850 *per room

Duration: 2 hours (*1.5 hour meeting I, 30 min followup meeting II)

    WHAT’S INCLUDED:

STEP 1: Before your Studio Session, you will receive an intake form to collect essential information for making our time together as productive as possible. This form will gather details such as your room measurements, design challenges, and visual references, which should be uploaded to your designated client portal.

STEP 2: During our 90-minute session, we will focus on personalizing and enhancing your signle-room project. We will review your project brief, develop a micro-concept, and craft a tailored *scheme together. This includes discussing layouts, selecting finishes, and offering styling ideas to best suit your needs.

STEP 3: The SPACES team will curate your room-in-a-box with additional samples and guidance.

STEP 4: Session II: Return to the studio for a 30 min follow-up to discuss your project.

STEP 5: Unlock your design potential through your client portal! Easily order all your fabrics, wallpaper, and tile you‘ve selected, and watch your vision unfold.

(SPACES will not be advising on exact dimensions or specifications in these meetings and is not liable for installation. These recommendations are for creative intent only and your contractor approval is always strongly advised).

Q + A

How is THE DESIGN BOX different from full service?

The Design Box Studio Session crunches creative consulting into 2 hours worth of meetings, while Full Service interior design is a turn-key service that takes the project from concept to completion with a design phase of 3-6 months and an implementation phase to follow. We take care of every detail—from sourcing items to working with tradespeople and coordinating purchasing and deliveries. At the end, we install the new design so all you have to do is enjoy your new space. We do NOT enter your home with Studio Sessions.

What if the selections look different in my home?

They most likely will! Just like makeup, you need to try on and experiment a little inside the natural light and behaviors of your own home. Our selections will kick off your process and we will talk through guardrails and tips to inform you about continuing the process.

Will you be sourcing furniture?

We won’t source specific furniture in our DESIGN BOX studio session, but we will likely talk through ideas on what to look for such as search terms, style and material, vendors and shops. We will be providing some vintage item shop links as a starting point.

What is the difference between THE DESIGN BOX and THE LIBRARY CARD?

THE LIBRARY CARD does not ideate floor play/layout, paint, furniture, fixtures, styling. You are coming to us with a specific upholstery or window treatment project that needs fabric and we will simply help you select fabric, connect you with a tradesperson to measure and fabricate, and we will order the fabric on your behalf.
